Guest Save 38% on this 15-Day Tropical Voyage
Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ 4-star ship MS BREMEN is offering guests a Polynesia adventure starting on April 12, 2008 for 15-days. Guests meet the ship in Papeete, Tahiti (port of embarkation) and disembark in Acapulco, Mexico. With the 38% discount now running, outside cabins originally $10,140 per person are now only $6,500 per person, based on double occupancy.
Guest will experience the tropical flora and fauna above and below the surface of the water, the openness to the world of the inhabitants renowned for their friendliness, and the thrilling excursions into the history and culture of French Polynesia. Highlights of this trip include: a visit to the volcanic Society Islands including Bora Bora for snorkeling with the reef sharks, swimming and exploring,
a visit to The Swimming Gardens of the Tuamotu Archipelago Tikehau with its long, untouched, pink and white sandy beaches along the edge of a turquoise lagoon perfect for snorkeling and swimming, a zodiac (small motorized boats) trip to the Marquesas Islands where the French painter Paul Gaugin as well as the Belgian chansonnier Jacque Brel found their final resting places in the Calvaire Cemetery, and a visit to the island of Nuku Hiva, which has the oldest traces of the Polynesian people.
The BREMEN embraces the concept of learning vacations, offering a team of first-class lecturers. As part of the activity program onboard, guests can become creative themselves, inspired by the glorious colors of Polynesia. Together with the ethnologist and sculptress, Dr. Renate Schukies, guests will practice working freely with feathers as an artistic material and create their own jewelry. Also onboard, artist, Dor Sievers, will give painting lessons.
A 4-star ship known for its comfort and high level of service, the BREMEN provides many luxurious amenities onboard. She has gone through extensive soft renovations during the shipyard stay in 2006. The BREMEN was the first expedition ship to offer private balconies. She also offers portholes and panoramic windows. The ship also includes a panorama lounge, library, sun deck with swimming pool, fitness center and sauna and offers sports gear such as diving masks and canoes. The BREMEN carries 164 passengers.
