LE MASSIF DE CHARLEVOIX OPEN DECEMBER 8 − 9 WEEKEND

Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, November 30 2012 – Thanks to favourable weather conditions and its high-performance snowmaking system, Le Massif de Charlevoix is pleased to announce it will be open December 8 – 9. Skiers and riders are invited to enjoy 7 carefully prepared trails in the Camp Boule sector – the Mountain’s highest skiable terrain. Camp-Boule Express Lift will be in operation from 8:30am to 3:15pm. Do note December 15 marks the official opening date of the 2012-13 season when slide sport fans will have access to the Mountain 7/7.

 

"Snowmaking has been progressing well and we’re pleased to start the season earlier than expected. Temperatures have been favourable and our on-trail teams have been working non-stop to provide quality coverage. That’s good news for loyal Le Massif skiers and riders who can add two extra days to their 2012-13 season here at the Mountain," says Frédéric Sujobert, General Manager at Le Massif de Charlevoix.

 

Extended Pre-Season Sale and Deals on Day Lift Tickets

Le Massif de Charlevoix is extending its pre-season sale on season passesÀ tout prix Cards and Adventure + Learning Centre products until December 9. Opening day is therefore the perfect time to take advantage of great deals, and ski for less all season long. The Summit Chalet’s Rossignol Boutique will also be open, where skiers and riders can shop state of the art equipment and the latest on-snow fashions. Finally, day lift tickets are priced at − $40 for adults (26-64), $35 for seniors (65+), $30 for students (18-25) and $20 for juniors (7-12) for this weekend. Children 6 and under ski free.
