The Clifton Inn Celebrates the Holidays with 12 Days of Offerings

 

Move over partridge in a pear tree, The Clifton Inn is ushering in Christmas this year with a new tune during their epicurean inspired Twelve Days of Christmas at Clifton.  Beginning Thursday, December 13, 2012 and running through Monday, December 24, the Relâis & Chateaux property in Charlottesville, VA will celebrate the season by gifting guests with a one-day only merriment-inducing, holiday offering each day.
 
December 13, 4pm: A special Hor d’ouveres Cooking Demo and Tasting with chef Tucker Yoder that brings Yuletide from the kitchen. $25 per person
 
December 14, 5pm: What’s a holiday party without seasonal cocktails? Clifton’s Festive Cocktail Demo and Tasting that will add a new sparkle at your next party. $25 per person
 
December 15: Amidst the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, take a night off and treat yourself and your family to a Pre-Christmas Getaway Gift at Clifton and enjoy Sunday’s Nutcracker Tea as Clifton’s gift to you. Kids dine and stay for free with their parents. Rates start at $169 per night   
 
December 16, 2pm: Bring the kids for a special Nutcracker Tea featuring characters from the beloved holiday tale. $45 per person
 
December 17, 6pm: A true feast for the senses - savor a Four-Course Pre-Theater Dinner at Clifton and enjoy tickets to Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker 2012 at Paramount Theater. $225 per person
 
December 18, 4pm: Join local florist, Pat’s Floral Design to customize a Beautiful Holiday Arrangement to take with you to become your Holiday Centerpiece. $50 per person
 
December 19, 5pm: Cookies aren’t just for Santa, taste an assortment of savory and sweet choices that would surely make Rudolph buck during Clifton’s Cookies and Cocktails hour. $25 per person
 
December 20, 8am: Join chef Tucker Yoder for an early morning lesson on Breakfast Tips and Dishes for a Christmas morning feast. $25 per person
 
December 21, 5pm: Explore the 12 Wines of Christmas showcasing choices perfect for entertaining, gifting, or simply enjoying this holiday season. $35 per person
 
December 22, 6pm: Bring the kids into the kitchen for an afternoon of making Gingerbread Houseswhile you enjoy sophisticated snacks in the dining room. $10 per child
 
December 23, 1pm: Join chef Tucker Yoder for Lunch and a Side Dish Demo for the holiday table. Watch, taste, and learn. $25 per person
 
December 24, 3pm: Drop before you shop, leave the kids for the afternoon to Decorate Christmas Cookies with Santa. Photos taken and emailed to each participating child’s parent [for children ages 6-12 only.] $50 per person
