Hot New Shows on Broadway! In speaking with "those in the know," we're hearing that this Spring's new lineup of shows on Broadway could be the best in years. We saw excerpts from 3 in particular that look to be long-running hits - Matilda the Musical, Motown: The Musical and Kinky Boots. Cinderella, an updated version of the movie with music by Rogers and Hammerstein, and the already-opened Annie also are destined to play to huge audiences. On a sad note, Disney Theatrical has announced that Mary Poppins will play its final performance on March 3. The theatre and stage will be prepared for a Spring 2014 opening of Aladdin! |
