LARK HOTELS TEAMS WITH LIFESTYLE BRAND VINEYARD VINES TO UNVEIL TWO DESIGNER SUITES ON NANTUCKET AND IN KENNEBUNKPORT

NEWBURYPORT, MA – March 6, 2013 – Rob Blood, CEO and Founder of Lark Hotels, the innovative boutique hotel company with hotels located throughout coastal New England, announced today a partnership with lifestyle brand vineyard vines®  to create two exclusive designer guest suites.  The first vineyard vines Suites will be featured at Kennebunkport’s Captain Fairfield Inn and at the soon-to-open 76 Main on Nantucket. Additional suites are planned at other Lark Hotel locations in the near future.

The vineyard vines Suite in Kennebunkport opens this month with the second one on Nantucket joining it June 9.  The suites infuse a mix of coastal preppy chic combined with the modern and playful touches for which Lark Hotel accommodations are known.  Interior designs exude a true vacation house feel – reflecting the textures and vibrant styles of the hotel group mixed with the patterns and beach-bound vibe of the popular preppy clothier.  In fact, the pillows and bed bolsters are made from board short material and the edging on the window shades from vineyard vines belts.

“Half of my ties are from vineyard vines,” said Bruce A. Percelay, publisher of N Magazine and owner of 76 Main, the Nantucket boutique hotel that recently joined Lark’s management portfolio.  “The vineyard vines brand embraces the summer spirit year-round.  We are very proud to blend that feel with the bold coastal design embodied by Lark Hotels.”

“When we started vineyard vines fifteen years ago, we always envisioned it to be a lifestyle brand, not just a clothing company. Since then, we have been looking for the right opportunity to venture into the hospitality business and we’re delighted to start that adventure with Lark Hotels,” commented Ian Murray, CEO and co-founder of vineyard vines. “In addition to the design, guests will be greeted with all sorts of VV touches upon arrival, making the suites a true reflection of the brand we’ve built.”
