Day 1 - Rome After your arrival into Rome's Fiumicino airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure for you to get acquainted with the "Eternal City".

Day 2 - 5 Rome Rome the "Eternal City," has been a sacred place and an internationally important city since ancient times. Rome's history extends nearly 2,800 years, during which time it has been the seat of the Roman Kingdom, the Roman Republic, the Roman Empire, the Papal States, the Kingdom of Italy and the Italian Republic. The first known temple in Rome was built around 575 BC. Christians arrived in the 1st century AD, and Rome has been the center of Catholic Christianity ever since. During your stay in Rome, you will enjoy a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, a full day tour of Assisi, a medieval city built on a hill and birthplace of Saint Francis, and assist to the papal audience. Rome's abundance of history, art, holy places and much more will not disappoint you! (B daily, L in Assisi)

Day 6 Rome/USA (or extend your stay) Say "arrivederci" to Italy or extend your stay. (B)
