Ivy Hotel Ivy Hotel + Residences, a Starwood property, is a 136-room luxury hotel situated steps away from Orchestra Hall, Nicollet Mall, and the Minneapolis Convention Center. Open February 2007. A 17,000 square-foot Ivy Spa Club is located at the historic Ivy Tower. With more than 75 treatments, including specialty massage, body treatments, facials and mani/pedicures, it's a perfect girlfriend or couples getaway.

Minneapolis will add more than 1,000 rooms to its inventory this year. With projects in the works in downtown and uptown, the variety, scale and choices increase in the Minneapolis Saint Paul area.

Construction is underway on a $100 million hotel and condo development, dubbed the Hotel Minneapolis. Developers plan to build a 200-room hotel and restaurant in the existing 10-story, century-old Midland Bank Building on Second Avenue South. Hotel Minneapolis is scheduled to open fall 2008.
