 Butterfield & Robinson, the world's premier active travel company,  has announced a slew of new trips for 2014 that illuminate the best of  three continents. Bike through Chilean vineyards and sample some of  South America's best wine, or explore Morocco's ancient architecture on  foot in North Africa. In Europe, bike past the castles and vineyards of  the land of kings in Alsace, France, the vast landscapes and Moorish  palaces of Spain's Andalucia, or the quiet villages of the Veneto, which  give way to the majesty of Venice in Italy.

 Chile Biking, from US$6,795 (6 nights)
 Ocean and mountains meet in this culturally-rich nation most famous for  its top-ranking wines. Bike rides through vineyards allow travellers to  stop for tastings and a visit to Santiago includes dinner at a local  chef's home. Special activities featured are horseback riding, a horse  handling demonstration and an interactive cooking experience.
 
 Morocco Walking, from US$6,995 (6 nights)
 This walking trip showcases Morocco's exceptionally flavourful food and  spectacular vistas. Walks explore the Natural Reserve of Tamsoult and  hikes through the Otos Pass lead to lunch on a Kasbah terrace. Other  activities include lunch at a traditional Berber village, a picnic on  the Atlantic coast, camel rides and a visit to Marrakech's Museum of  Art.
 
 Alsace & Champagne Biking, from US$5,995 (5 nights)
 Ride through medieval Alsatian villages and stop for a picnic in the  middle of vineyards. In Champagne, ride past Veuve Cliquot and Krug  vines, wander into famous maisons like Laurent Perrier and De Castellane  and enjoy a tasting at Moet & Chandon. On the final night,  cocktails accompany a talk from Anselme Selosse at his Domaine.
 
 Andalucia Biking, from US$5,295 (5 nights)
 Ride on country roads, stopping for an olive oil tastings. Experience  Andalucía's eclectic mix of Moorish, Catholic, Gypsy and Folk cultures  and get to know this colourful region through art and history. Attend a  private flamenco concert, stroll through a famous bullring and admire  the architecture of Ronda, a city that inspired Orson Welles and Ernest  Hemingway.
 
 Verona to Venice Bistro Biking, from US$4,495 (5 nights)
 Ride past famous Castelvecchio, next to the Adige River and through  small villages with rich histories. Along the Po River, Italy's longest  cycling route leads to Ferrara. There, visit Ferrucio Lamborghini's  private museum and hear his nephew's stories and insights about the  rivalry between Lamborghini and Enzo Ferrari. In Venice, glide in  gondolas to a surprise location for an enchanting dinner.
