Oxnard, California, Salsa Festival Celebrates 20 Years, July 27-28, 2013
Oxnard, California - It’s time to get ready for a spicy escape to Oxnard when the coastal city prepares for a milestone celebration of the 20th annual 
Oxnard Salsa Festival.  The annual festival is a celebration of everything salsa -- the music, the food and the dance – slated for July 27-28, 2013. The two-day event draws an estimated 50,000 salsa lovers to the City of Oxnard for an action packed weekend. In addition to musical entertainment, other event highlights include the Tasti-Lee® Tomatoes Salsa Tasting Tent, an eclectic vendor marketplace, international foods, kid korner, a salsa recipe contest, cooking demonstrations and the popular, ‘Dancing with out Community Stars’ dance contest and charity fundraiser. Happy Kids Day 2013 - A Unique Multi-Cultural Festival in Cupertino, California
Cupertino, California (San Francisco Bay Area) - 
Happy Kids Day 2013 festival will be held on August 17, 2013, at Cupertino Memorial Park in Cupertino, California. As one of the largest family-oriented events in the San Francisco Bay Area, Happy Kids Day invites a consortium of performers with international children songs and dances, cultural exhibits with games and activities, and a diverse selection of ethnic delicacies. The objective is to foster a more peaceful community through culture awareness and appreciation to achieve greater cultural understanding and ethnic diversity. Happy Kids Day is a multi-cultural festival with over 100 tents of exhibitors to provide children games and activities. This year, they are introducing International Village, a special area with pavilions, each hosted by representatives of a foreign Consulate or its compatriot organization to showcase their unique culture. Festival Forecast for July 19 & 20: 100% Chance of Peaches in Marysville, California
Marysville, California - Historic Marysville, California, expects 30,000 visitors for its 
14th Annual Peach Festival, July 19 and 20, 2013.  Admission is free.  Marysville, once California’s third largest city when it was the gateway to the gold fields, enjoyed a second Gold Rush a century later when it was producing half of all canned peaches in the world. The fruit is still grown in many varieties by local family farms.  The two-day festival features many inventive ways to savor the flavor of  the fruit. Fresh peaches, peach ice cream, cobblers and pies, shakes , smoothies, candies, sodas, peach-basted barbecue are just a few of foods offered.  There also are  non-edible peach products, as well as various games, rides, children’s amusements and live entertainment.  The festival runs Friday, July 19 , 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday, July 20, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., all along D Street, just a block east of Hwy 70 and two blocks south of Hwy 20.  Marysville is located about 35 miles north of Sacramento.
