HONOLULU, HAWAII – Guests looking for a more tranquil pool experience when on holiday are enjoying this and more at the newly-opened adults-only pool and bistro, the Vahavu, at the Outrigger on the Lagoon, Fiji. The opening of the resorts new F$2.2 million adults-only facility is a direct result of feedback from guests who asked for a quieter, more relaxed pool alternative at the resort.

Meaning ‘to relax” or ‘chill out’ in the local Nadroga Fijian dialect, Vahavu is a fitting name for the new complex that includes a 20 meter lap pool, a 35 meter lagoon pool and a swim-up bar.

 

The Vahavu Bistro offers outdoor dining at its finest with a contemporary menu featuring shared tapas plates, casual meals with a selection of sides, dessert and coffee, with full pool side service in addition to indoor or lounge seating. Vahavu's selection of tropical cocktails includes the 'Bula Bula', 'Lost Bikini', 'Bilibili' and 'Coconut Bliss'.

 

The pavilion area is also available in the evenings for intimate weddings, VIP receptions and other special celebrations with up to 100 guests.
