On New YouTube Video with Contest
TORONTO, July 15, 2013 – Sacred Rides, the company that helped pioneer singletrack mountain bike tours in 13 remote and exotic international destinations has posted
a video on YouTube called “This is why we ride -- a celebration of mountain biking.”
The action-packed, three-minute film produced by Mike Brcic, owner of Sacred Rides (
http://www.sacredrides.com/) headquartered in Toronto, asks fat tire enthusiasts from around the world: “Why do you ride?” Their responses add up to a celebration of mountain biking detailing the many physical, emotional, and spiritual reasons that people mountain bike.
“It's already caused quite a stir within the biking community,” said Brcic. “The video garnered over 12,000 views in less than 48 hours!”
The video was created using photos, videos and quotes from mountain bikers around the world. “It is our celebration of the sport and we wanted to capture all the joy, freedom and deeper meaning behind why people mountain bike,” he said.
The video is being released in tandem with a contest to help it go viral.

In August 2012 Sacred Rides ran a contest that asked riders to submit photos, videos and quotes about a trail or ride experience that really made them feel joyous and alive.
