Fundraiser for the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots, Fountain Hills, Arizona
Fountain Hills, Arizona - On June 30, 2013, when the fire tragedy struck the town of Yarnell, AZ and the town lost 19 of its most elite firefighters, Gary immediately stepped up to the plate to help out the families of the fallen. Along with Marilyn Higgins, a Fountain Hills resident and volunteer, they planned a successful Fundraiser that took place at the Holiday Inn Hotel that Gary manages. The event was attended by over 200 local, state and international residents.

Huge International Sand Sculpture Event: San Diego Labor Day Weekend
San Diego, California - The Port of San Diego has again authorized producers of the U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge and 3D Art Exposition to create one on the cruise ship terminal pier. They’ll bring in 300 tons of sand that will be carved and molded into beautiful sculptures by nearly 40 artists in 3 different classes of sculpting competition, August 30 to September 2, 2013. Connecticut's 8th Annual Milford Irish Festival
Milford, Connecticut - The Irish Heritage Society of Milford, Connecticut, will have their 8th Annual Irish Festival on September 20 & 21, 2013 (rain or shine). The Festival comes alive with Irish music, dancing, culture, endless food choices, and Irish wares for sale. There will be live musical performances by Bobby Morrill, The Highland Rovers Band, County Cavan, O’Hanleigh, Calley McGrane & the Exiles, and Colleen and the Boys.
