You won’t want to miss the first modified winter triathlon by the International Triathlon Union (ITU), an event comprising snowshoeing, speed skating and cross-country skiing. You can be a part of history! On March 8 and 9, 2014, Olympians and other elite athletes will compete for the honour of being the first ITU Winter Triathlon champions. Races will be held for the general public as well. The Pentathlon des neiges team will draw on its extensive multi winter sport event experience to organize and host the ITU Winter Triathlon.

The 2014 edition of the Snowboard Jamboree will be dominated by three freestyle disciplines. Stoneham Mountain Resort will play host to the world’s best half-pipe and slopestyle snowboarders, while the international big air elite will compete at Ilôt Fleurie in downtown Québec City. So long, alpine disciplines! The cream of the crop among acrobatic snowboarders will be on hand to compete in this event from January 13 to 19, 2014.
