New York - October 1, 2013: The seventh annual Open House Jerusalem festival will offer exclusive access to an assortment of spectacular buildings, historical neighborhoods and private residences throughout Jerusalem, November 7-9.
The festival will showcase more than 120 exclusive homes, apartments, historical monuments and public buildings free of charge. Travelers will have access to dozens of niche architectural walking tours led by local experts, including visits to the historical Katamon and Lifta neighborhoods, the private home of Israel Museum benefactor Charlotte Bergman, the Garden Tomb, the Rockefeller Archeological Museum and Jerusalem House of Quality, among others.
"The upcoming Open House festival will offer an insider's glimpse into some of Jerusalem's most fascinating archeological sites and private residences," said Haim Gutin, Israel Commissioner for Tourism, North and South America, "and will provide additional excitement for travelers arriving in Jerusalem this November."
All Open House Jerusalem events are open to the public, but several require advanced registration.
