350 years is a great reason to celebrate! The festivities marking the 350th anniversary of the Notre-Dame de Québec parish will begin on December 8, 2013, with the opening of the Holy Door. This will only be the seventh time such a religious event is held in the world, and the first time outside Europe. A number of activities are planned for the year-long program. The design for this new museum pavilion was selected during the first international architecture competition held in Québec City. Construction should be completed by 2015.
