2014 International Route 66 Festival secures Grand Canyon Skywalk as title sponsor, Kingman, AZ

Kingman, AZ - Two of the Southwest’s major tourist destinations, Hualapai Tourism, operators of Grand Canyon West®, home of the Skywalk®, and the Route 66 International Festival, have announced that they are joining forces to host a multi-day Festival, August 14 thru 17, 2014. Events planned include Vintage Car Shows, a Conference on Transforming Route 66 into America’s 1st All Electric Highway, Film Festival, Sock Hop, Concerts, Barbeques, Wine & Rum Tastings and an Authors, Artists and Collector’s Exhibit. Alcatraz Exhibits Make Monumental Move to Hyatt Regency Santa Clara

San Francisco, CA - Together with Alcatraz Cruises, Hyatt Regency Santa Clara will be the new, temporary home of the Alcatraz: Life on the Rock and Alcatraz: The Last Day exhibits.  Alcatraz: The Last Day photo exhibition is a collection by Life Magazine photographer Leigh Wiener. The 3,000 square foot exhibits are free and open to the public (24 hours/day, seven days/week) at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, 5101 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, California. This comprehensive exhibit is an ideal way for families, students and visitors alike to get a real feel for the history of and the fascination with Alcatraz.
