Major renovations at the Hôtel Château Laurier Québec
To improve the client experience at the Hôtel Château Laurier Québec and ensure the establishment remains at the forefront of the industry, Mr. Alain Girard, CEO and co-owner of the hotel, invested $2 million to completely rebuild and modernize 40 rooms. The renovations, which affect 14% of the room offer, started in early January and are expected to be complete by April 2014.

The rooms to be renovated are located in the original part of the hotel, namely the houses with terrace along Grande Allée or overlooking George V Park. The rooms in this part of the hotel, whose historical cachet has been preserved, will be transformed to reflect the contemporary style of the other rooms. Once the renovations are complete, the updated rooms will have wooden floors and a number of amenities, including a glass-enclosed shower, integrated lighting, WiFi and a smart television.
