Michigan Ave.) introduces several themed packages that are chock full of adventure and ideal for travelers who will be vacationing in the Windy City this summer. With its stellar location on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, home to the city’s major department stores, specialty stops and steps away from major cultural attractions, these value-added packages allow guests to take full advantage of the wonderful things that Chicago is known for – its celebrated architecture, scenic bike paths and storied blues culture.

 

The following summer packages allow InterContinental Chicago guests to soak in all the sights and sounds that the city has to offer by getting out and about, while still allowing travelers to come home to a luxurious property featuring comfortable amenities after a full day roaming through the city of Big Shoulders. Featured packages include:

 

  • CHICAGO ARCHITECTURE ADVENTURE: Designed for those who are interested in getting up close and personal with Chicago’s incredible architecture, this package includes two night accommodations, a self-guided I-Pod audio tour of the historic hotel and a copy of Chicago’s Famous Buildings guidebook. Guests can also receive admission for two to experience one tour or cruise including the Windy City’s popular Architectural River Cruise, Historic Skyscrapers Tour, Modern Skyscrapers Tour, Downtown Deco Tour or Architecture of Culture and Commerce Tour. Rates start at $229 each night per couple, with a minimum two night stay. 

 

  • BIKE CHICAGO: For travelers who don’t like to stay cooped up in their hotel room, the best way to explore Chicago is with a bike! With overnight accommodations for two, this package allows guests to take to the streets with an all day bicycle rental for two and guided tour of Chicago’s neighborhoods that highlight various historic and cultural landmarks along the way. Additional bikes may be rented to accommodate up to 6 people, making it a great option for families with children 10 years and older. Rates start at $289 each night per couple with a minimum two night stay.
  • BLUES CHICAGO: Once home to Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley and Muddy Waters, Chicago continues to boast a wonderfully vibrant blues scene.   • CHICAGO CITY PASS: InterContinental Chicago guests who are looking to hit some of the city’s must-see attractions can enjoy this insider package that includes overnight accommodations for two, complimentary valet parking and a two-day “Go Chicago Card” that includes admission for two to some of the city’s most popular tourist spots including: Shedd Aquarium; John Hancock Observatory; Sears Tower; The Field Museum; Art Institute of Chicago; Gray Line Tours; and more! Rates start at $299 each night per couple with a minimum two night stay; a three day advance booking is also required.
