Escorted Tours of Italy and Europe from $1,605
Libertyville, IL, January 13, 2014—TourCrafters has just published its Best of Italy 2014 brochure, full of escorted, independent and food & wine tours of Italy. Two that promise to be best-sellers are those that cover Italy’s highlights: Rome, Florence and Venice.
“Absolute Italy”—the splurge--is a 9-day/8-night, small group escorted luxury tour that starts at $2,139 (land only). It includes an arrival transfer, welcome cocktail, a choice of luxe hotels, daily breakfast, five dinners and one lunch with wine, a wine tasting, a guided visit to the Coliseum and Vatican, walking tours of Florence and Venice, visits to Siena and San Gimignano, luxury motorcoach transportation, a high speed train ride, tour escort, luggage handling in hotels and departure transfer.
The shorter, less expensive 7-Day/6-Night “Classical Italy” tour starts at $1,605 (land only). It includes an arrival transfer, centrally-located first-class hotels, daily buffet breakfast, four dinners, transportation by air conditioned motorcoach, professional headsets, walking tours of Rome, Florence and Venice, and local guides. Because the whole trip is by motorcoach, it also includes stops in Assisi, Siena and Padua, as well as a boat tour to the island of Murano, Venice’s glass-blowing center.
Both tours are English-speaking only and both can be extended with visits to other Italian cities and regions. All prices quoted are per person, double occupancy, and are subject to availability. Prices do not include transatlantic air fare, but TourCrafters’ reservation agents can arrange air transportation at the lowest available fare.
TourCrafters has also just published a Best of Europe 2014 brochure that adds escorted tours and European river cruises to the packages and hotels in France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Greece and Turkey that are always featured. Also new this year is a special program of Greek cruises offering Greek gourmet food and cooking classes.
