New York - January 27, 2014: A selection of international music superstars have recently announced one-off performances in Israel this summer, including:
- International pop superstar Justin Timberlake will present his first-ever performance in Israel as part of his "20/20 Experience World Tour" at Tel Aviv's Hayarkon Park on May 28, 2014. www.justintimberlake.com
- This one-off performance by legendary folk music icon Neil Young and his band Crazy Horse at Tel Aviv's Hayarkon Park, July 17, will be his first show in Israel since 1993.www.eventim.co.il
- Seminal rock band The Pixies will headline a two-day music festival at Tel Aviv-Jaffa's Bloomfield Stadium, June 17, followed by a performance by Soundgarden, June 18.www.eventim.co.il
"We are thrilled to host a selection of concerts by some of the world's top musical artists in Tel Aviv this year," said Haim Gutin, Israel Commissioner for Tourism, North and South America, "which attests to the city's growing reputation as a hotspot for international performers."
The concerts follow performances by Rihanna and the Red Hot Chili Peppers in Israel last year.
