New York - February 5, 2014: Zurich's renowned Baur au Lac is celebrating Valentine's Day with chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate, featuring the hotel's signature brand of chocolate,Chocolat 1844 (pictured, below right). The Chocoholic Package highlights Chocolat 1844 with a five-course tasting menu at the Baur au Lac's Pavillon restaurant served with a special Chocolat 1844 dessert and a private chocolate-inspired wine tasting.

 

 

The Chocoholic Package includes:

  • Box of Chocolat 1844 chocolates
  • White Chocolate Martini Cocktail at the Rive Gauche Bar
  • Five-course menu at the Pavillon restaurant with a specialChocolat 1844 dessert
  • Hot chocolate with shortbread biscuits for turndown service
  • Exclusive wine tasting accompanied by Chocolat 1844
  • Complimentary minibar and wireless internet access free of charge
  • Admission to the fitness club and the business center
  • Upgrade upon availability 

Rates start at CHF 1,370 (approximately US$1,500, inclusive of VAT and service charges) per night, based on two people sharing a double room. 

Additionally, on February 14th, the Pavillon restaurant, which has just been recognized with its first Michelin star, is planning a special five-course Valentine's Day menu prepared by Head Chef Laurent Eperon.
