World Spree Offers $400 Discount on Vietnam & Cambodia Tour

Bellevue, WA, February 27, 2014Some exotic destinations that sound exciting surprise travelers with iffy hotels and inedible food.  But Vietnam and Cambodia have not only a fascinating history, rich culture, ancient monuments and extraordinary landscapes but—thanks to French colonial Influences—charming hotels and sophisticated cuisine as well.

To take advantage of these unique attractions World Spree, sister company of the popular China Spree, has designed a 15-day escorted Best of Vietnam and Cambodia tour that starts at $3,699 (only $3,299 if booked by March 31)  and includes round-trip air from San Francisco on Korean Air, all other flights and transportation, deluxe hotel accommodations, 12 American buffet breakfasts, 16 delicious lunches and dinners, sightseeing tours and entrance fees, professional English-speaking tour escorts and guides, taxes and fuel surcharges.

The tour begins in the capital, Hanoi—known for its 600-year-old Old Quarter, exquisite French architecture and leafy boulevards—with visits to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and “house on stilts,” as well as a water puppet show.  After a drive through the Red River Delta, there’s an overnight cruise through the limestone outcrops and islets of beautiful Halong Bay. Onward via Da Nang to Hoi An, a city of relaxed charm and traditional architecture and a lovely beachfront resort..

Hue, the old imperial capital, is famed for culture, cuisine and a major battle during the Vietnam War. Touring here includes the French Quarter and bustling markets (by cyclo), a visit to the impressive citadel, and a cruise up the Perfume River, followed by a special Royal Cuisine banquet.  A flight then takes the group to vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, aka Saigon,  with its glass skyscrapers, ancient temples, French colonial landmarks and the infamous Cu Chi tunnels, and another cruise through the Mekong Delta’s rice paddies and villages.

Finally a flight takes the group to the small Cambodian city of Siem Reap, gateway to the celebrated temples of Angkor, built when it was the capital of a Khmer kingdom that stretched across Southeast Asia.  Two full days are spent exploring the temples, including the legendary Angkor Wat.

Note that almost all departures offer a complimentary tour of Seoul during a layover in Korea on the way home to the U.S.

Prices are cash-only, are per person double occupancy, are subject to availability and must be booked by March 31 to get the $400 discount.  For more information about the Best of Vietnam & Cambodia tour, log onto www.worldspree.com, click “Tour Packages” and then “Vietnam.”
