COMPAGNIE DU PONANT ANNOUNCES NEW SUMMER 2015 SAILINGS AND

BALTIC, MEDITERRANEAN AND JAPAN

New 2015 Itineraries include Alaska and Japan during Spring Cherry Blossom Season
as well as exclusive advantages and savings

MARSEILLE – (April 16, 2014) – For those who prefer to plan their travel in advance, cruises on Compagnie du Ponant are now available for booking more than a year out, a first for the 26-year old French-flagged luxury cruise line. Beginning April 15, 2014, guests will be able to book new itineraries for Summer 2015, which include 70 cruise programs, from April to October 2015, in the Arctic, Northern Europe and the Baltic, the Mediterranean and Japan.

Known for their destination-rich itineraries to locales only accessible to small ships, Compagnie du Ponant’s Northwest Passage sailing was just selected as one of National Geographic Traveler magazine’s ninth annual “50 Tours of a Lifetime,” in the May 2014 issue.

The allure of Compagnie du Ponant is its expedition-style of cruising with moorings as close to protected sites as possible, while onboard its three 132-stateroom sister ships,
Le Boreal, L’Austral and Le Soléal and 64-stateroom, three-mast sailing yacht Le Ponant, guests enjoy five-star comfort and service, traveling in the company of enthusiastic experts, historians and lecturers as their guides.

Much more than a cruise, an authentic travel experience awaits them, be it an adventure expedition in the Arctic or Alaska, a coastal cruise along Mediterranean shores or a themed cruise.

NEW DESTINATIONS

Two new destinations are on offer for the Summer 2015 season:

  • Alaska, which completes Compagnie du Ponant’s exciting Arctic sailings to the Russian Arctic, Spitsbergen, the Norwegian fjords, Iceland, Greenland and the Great Canadian North.
  • Japan, in addition to their autumn sailings, Compagnie du Ponant now offers sailings during the festive hanami, cherry blossom season.

EVER MORE ADVANTAGES

For Summer 2015 departures, guests will enjoy a host of extra benefits and savings including:

  • All-inclusive fares. All meals, open bar, gratuities, port charges, taxes and fees, are included in the pricing. Select itineraries also offer air inclusive options
  • Ponant Bonus Fares offering the lowest prices for those who book the earliest.
  • Exclusive new advantages for Ponant Yacht Club members. Members enjoy free excursions, discounts on future cruises, upgrades, and a 50% discount on Wi-Fi for select levels.
