UV Splash Color Dash Run/Walk Lights up Tucson, September 12th
Participate in the UV Splash Color Dash on September 12, at Reid Park, 900 S. Randolph Way, Tucson, AZ. This fun, family-friendly event is going to be a big difference maker - it's Tucson’s Brightest 5k run/walk. The UV Splash Color Dash is a fun-filled experience for walkers, runners, and people of all ages, shapes, and sizes. The dash is not timed - it's more about sharing memories, laughing, and getting colored like a glow-in-the-dark sticker than competing. As participants run, walk the course, the Dasher-Splasher volunteers will splash them with special non-toxic, non-irritating, UV water. Results are a white t-shirted community of do-gooders, turned into a rainbow of glowing faces. A portion of the proceeds from the UV Splash will go to Friends 4 the Future. Funds raised will be used to expand and continue development of the H.E.A.R.T.T. program which targets the education of children and adolescents in healthy eating habits, hearty physical activities, and financial literacy.
