TANZANIA - (March 12, 2015) - From the Great Migration to spectacular African sunsets, parents looking to share the excitement of wildlife spotting with their children can now combine animal sightings with no end of engaging activities at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, with the launch of the Big Five Family Safari package.

Over five days, the safari lodge is offering families the opportunity to discover the very best of the Serengeti, linking daily activities directly to the ‘big five’ animals to ensure a memorable  stay. To help families make the most of their vacation, the Big Five Family Safari package offers a day by day guideline itinerary, including a hot air balloon safari, planting camera traps around the Lodge’s grounds and for the little ones, making Maasai toothbrushes from local trees.

Upon arrival at the Lodge, children are presented with their very own Serengeti passport in which they can collect stamps for each member of the animal kingdom seen. The dedicated Kijana Klubhelps children keep track of their stamps and provides the perfect place to hang out during any free time, with a series of games, art and crafts available for ages two and above

Inclusive of a four night stay in a Terrace Suite Water Hole View for two adults and two children on a full board basis, with  return transfers to Seronera Airstrip, a morning and evening game drive, a hot air balloon safari (for children aged seven and above) the Big Five Family Safari package is the ultimate in adventure for all ages. For adults traveling with one child, there is also the option of placing an extra bed in a Savannah or Horizon Room, which offer spectacular views of the Serengeti Plains. For children under the age of 11 staying in the same room as their parents/guardians, both accommodation and food and beverage are offered complimentary, while kids aged 11–17 staying in the same room as their parents/guardians, all of the Lodge’s amenities may be enjoyed at 50% of the published additional adult rates.
