Green your scene during the 48Straight

48Straight, winter's largest sports, music, and entertainment event, has announced plans for a three-night environmental symposium as a prelude to an action packed weekend of events designed to celebrate mountain culture. Titled "Green Your Scene", the series of lectures will examine the impact of climate change on mountain towns and address how people living in these communities can reduce their carbon footprint. All "Green Your Scene" events are free and open to the public. Billed as the "Loudest Show on Snow", the wall-to-wall schedule of events surrounding 48Straight spans both on-snow and off-snow activities, including ski and snowboard cross racing and halfpipe competitions, over a dozen live concerts, street parties and fashion shows. The event will be held in Sun Valley March 14th-16th.
