JAZZ ASPEN SNOWMASS ANNOUNCES 2008 DATES

Summer Events

            Aspen, CO. – February 27, 2008 --…There’s still lots of  powder to cut through before we start thinking about summer!  But….. before you know it, the year will spin ‘round and at the other end of the sun is Jazz Aspen Snowmass’s June Festival presented by Calamos Investments, June 19 through 22, in Rio Grande Park, in downtown Aspen.  And later that summer, the Labor Day Festival, presented by Calamos Investments, will be held August 29 to September 1, at Snowmass Town Park. 

            Mark your calendars!

            JAS Executive Producer Jim Horowitz isn’t letting on who’ll grace the stage (s) in ’08, but you can bet it’ll be commensurate with the legends who’ve preceded them – Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Wynton Marsalis, Diana Krall, Elvis Costello, Herbie Hancock, you-name it.  Since the Denver Post’s Bill Husted called last Labor Day’s festival “the best weekend in the fest’s history,” JAS has both a nice place to start from and a huge challenge to match.
