Burnet Bluebonnet Festival – Burnet, April 11-13 – Celebrating its 25th anniversary of the arrival of spring and the Texas wildflower season, the Burnet Bluebonnet Festival is three days of live entertainment and shopping on the historic downtown square. The festival includes a parade, the Highland Lakes Squadron flying show, the Destruction Derby, the Burnet Gunfighters' Shootout, the arrival of the Hill Country Flyer train, the Kiwanis Bicycle Tour, a 5K run, and a custom car show.
