Indulge in the premier food and wine experience at the
Southern Breeze Wine + Culinary Festival Dinners.

The Southern Breeze Wine + Culinary Festival is bringing the "Good Life on the Gulf Coast" to Baton Rouge April 4-6.

This three-day festival blends gourmet food, boutique wines, and Gulf Coast culture into an entertaining, educational, and exciting weekend long event.

Experience the ultimate pairing at one of the Friday night Wine Dinners on April 4 from 7-10 p.m.

Top celebrity and regional chefs prepare a five-course gourmet affair carefully paired with five elegant wines from a boutique winemaker.

Throughout each course, guests are educated about these delectable, complementary pairings that bring out the fine, distinct flavors in each culinary delicacy.


The Hilton Capitol Center is honored to feature a collaboration of Executive Chef Michael Loupe and special guest, celebrity chef Tim Creehan of Beach Walk Crystal Beach and Creehan's Copper Grill paired with wine presented by Franck Lambert of Michael David Winery in Lodi, California.

Guests will receive expert knowledge as they are taught about the wine and culinary pairings throughout each course.

A second dinner will take place at Vic's Chophouse with the delectable cuisine of Chef Victor Pickich paired with legendary Tabasco Executive Chef Jason Gronlund.

The sumptuous coastal fare of these noted chefs will be matched with top-caliber vintage wines from racecar driver turned wine producer, Alan Heath of Heath Vineyards, during an evening not soon to be forgotten.

Friday's Wine Dinners are only the beginning of this unforgettable weekend.

Saturday will feature the Grand Wine Tasting at the grounds of the Old Louisiana State Capitol where guests can stroll the grounds while sampling over 150 boutique wines not readily available in stores.

Sunday brings a close to this exceptional event with the Walkabout Brunch as the region's best restaurants gather on the lawn of the Old Louisiana State Capitol, offering a sampling of their signature dishes paired with sparkling wines or champagnes.
