Red Bull Air Races
Date: 5/3/08 - 5/4/08

Last year, more than 50,000 spectators came to see the Red Bull Air Races in San Diego. Your chance to see the world's most skilled and entertaining pilots comes again May 2008.

Twelve of the world's top pilots will contest the 2008 Red Bull Air Race World Series flying through the challenging, twisting race tracks just feet above the ground with points awarded for the fastest times and least number of penalties.

Cinco de Mayo
Date: 5/3/08 - 5/5/08

The Old Town San Diego Fiesta Cinco de Mayo in historic Old Town San Diego will be held May 3 and 4, 2008. This event is the West Coast’s premiere celebration of arts and culture and the signature event of Old Town, the birthplace of San Diego.

The event features music, food, handcrafts and Southern California’s only reenactment of the 1862 Battle of Puebla. The weekend of activities kicks off on Saturday with a traditional Mercado for shoppers and diners, live music and colorful entertainment performed at eight different venues throughout the event. From the food to the fun, it is always a Fiesta in Old Town!
