MAYFLOWER INN & SPA INTRODUCES NEW ‘GREEN’ MINI-BAR

WASHINGTON, CT, April 11, 2008 – The Mayflower Inn & Spa in Washington, CT is taking their green efforts in-room, with the addition of a new Green Mini-Bar, featuring healthful and organic snacks. 

            The Green Mini-Bar will feature such items as Lakewood Organic juices in orange carrot, pomegranate and blueberry flavors; Eden Springs artesian water; Synergy Organic raw and fermented kombucha; Harvest Bay coconut water; Eden selected fruit and nut mix and spicy pumpkin seeds; Dagoba organic chocodrops (73% dark chocolate); Garden of Life organic fruits of life bar; organic yogurt, organic soy yogurt and water buffalo milk yogurt; and Crispy Delites veggie chips.

            All items offered in the Green Mini-Bar are organic or locally sourced.  The available beverages are all packaged in glass bottles and therefore fully recyclable.  The Green Mini-Bar contents can also be customized based on the needs and preferences of each guest.

The items in the Mayflower’s Green Mini-Bar range from $7 - $20 and are available upon request in all of the property’s rooms.
