PHOENIX, Arizona, April 16, 2008 - Have a cool time in the desert this summer on a getaway to the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa that features the lowest rates of the year, a special credit and a full calendar of activities for adults and kids alike.

From May 30 through Sept. 13, 2008, the resort is offering rates that start at just $169 plus a tasty extra bonus of a $50 daily food and beverage credit. Rates do not include tax and resort fee.

With its exceptional range of facilities and amenities for guests of all ages, the legendary "Jewel of the Desert" is a getaway haven for couples as well as families.  And summer offers the most affordable rates and most extensive array of activities, kids programs and poolside services.

The full slate of summer activities includes: wine tastings, cigar rolling, "s'mores" marshmallow roasts with a cowboy balladeer sing-along, and the "Dive-In Movies" where children and adults enjoy feature films projected onto a large screen while floating in the Paradise Pool. The Kids Korral program offers supervised sports, games, arts and crafts for children five to 12 years old. New for 2008 is the Biltmore Junior Summer Camp, a half-day of fun Monday through Friday featuring tennis instruction by a USPTA Pro, swimming, games and more, for kids 5-16 years old. Paradise Pool, one of the nation's premier resort pools. It features three different pools of varying size and depth, a 92-foot waterslide, in-water bar and dining, poolside dining, games and activities. Guests are greeted upon arrival by Pool Valets who escort them to a lounge chair in the location of their choice, provide towels, introduce them to their server and assist with any needs. Spacious and comfortable private cabanas have everything from a bathroom and pay-per-view movies to a telephone, misters and a refrigerator, as well as a table for four and two reserved lounge chairs. Cabana guests receive amenities such as chilled, scented facial towels, two bottles of Fiji water and butler-passed frozen treats ranging from frozen seedless grapes to sorbets.
