BOLTON VALLEY RESORT’S COUNTDOWN TO A SEASON OF SUCCESS

BOLTON, Vt. – To fully revamp the ramps, three new parks are being designed by Snow Park Technologies, the makers of the X-Games, Burton US and European Open, to grace the snow at Bolton.

STRATTON INTRODUCES MORE FANS, LARGEST MAGIC CARPET IN U.S. AND RENOVATES RESORTWIDE

STRATTON, Vt. - The winter season at Stratton Mountain Resort is set to get underway, November 21, 2007. With over $2.1 million in on-mountain improvements this year, including a 560 foot covered magic carpet – the longest in the US – and over 100 new snowguns, Stratton is ready for winter.

KILLINGTON UNVEILS $5.3 MILLION IN RESORT IMPROVEMENTS, NEW PROGRAMS, ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES

KILLINGTON, Vt.– Killington Resort enters the 2007-08 ski and snowboard season with more than $5.3 million in resort improvements and new programs to enhance the overall guest experience. In addition, Killington is implementing new environmental initiatives in an effort to reduce the resort’s overall carbon footprint.

MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE SNOWBOWL RENEWAL

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Renewing is as important as creating new in the case of the MCSB. After becoming the first totally carbon neutral ski area in the country in 06-07, the Snow Bowl will offset all of its carbon emissions again this year. Not only does the Bowl offset the emissions associated with all sources of fuel consumption, but they also offset an estimated amount of emissions produced by customer travel. This is significant since experts contend that emissions from automobiles comprise the largest source of carbon emissions in Vermont.

MAD RIVER GETS NEW SINGLE CHAIR AND A LEG UP ON SKIING GREEN

WAITSFIELD, Vt. - “Mad River Glen boasts one of the world’s finest chairlifts, it transports its passengers uphill the easy way in relaxed comfort… skiers are assured fast and comfortable, smooth and silent uphill transport in chairs of advanced design.
