Olympic Valley, Calif. - The AAA Four-Diamond Resort at Squaw Creek, managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, has released a Father's Day Weekend Room, Round and Al Fresco Dining Package. Valid June 20-23, 2008, the package includes:
* One night in a Deluxe Guestroom for two
* One round of golf on the scenic, par-71 Robert Trent Jones, Jr. links-style course (per person, limit two)
* Lunch for two at the Oasis Pool Bar and Grille (credit up to $25 per person)
The package runs $399 per room, per night for two people.
Resort at Squaw Creek's championship golf course opened all 18 holes in May. "We have the best early season conditions we've had in years," said Eric Veraguth, director of golf. "Mother Nature has given us plenty of sunshine and our golf course superintendent, Andy Wallace, and his grounds crew have worked masterfully to prepare the course, so this Father's Day will be the perfect time for that son or daughter to take Dad on a quick mountain golf vacation." The course is Audubon certified as a Cooperative Sanctuary, a designation given for outstanding environmental stewardship. No chemicals are utilized in the maintenance of the course, so it truly offers "green" greens.
