Swissôtel Chicago Hosts a VIK Halloween Event

This Halloween kid-friendly Swissôtel Chicago will present a spook-tastic Halloween event for VIKs (Very Important Kids). Starting at 6pm on October 31, little ghosts and goblins can meet in the lobby at Swissôtel Chicago for a free interactive evening with the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum and Adler Planetarium.

Shedd Aquarium

What Halloween isn’t complete without pumpkin carvings? While VIKs and their parents are creating jack-o-lanterns, Shedd Aquarium handlers will be showing some of their creepiest crawlies in an interactive animal encounter.

The Field Museum

The Field Museum will be entertaining the VIKs with a costumed T-Rex character while they make creepy-crawlies and long-legged beasties at the arts and crafts table. Imaginations will go even further as kids create their very own Egyptian funerary masks.

Adler Planetarium

The Adler Planetarium participates in the ghoulish festivities with a “Create an Alien” experience and constellation block printing – kids can think about the full moon and tell scary stories to top off Halloween night.

Swissôtel Chicago will also host a costume contest, trick-or-treating, and other games and activities. Although children do not have to be guests at the hotel to attend the event, the hotel will offer a VIK Halloween Package that includes accommodations at a rate from $99.
