MT. TREMPER, N.Y., October 9, 2008 – Emerson Resort & Spa, a Silk Road-inspired respite in the Hudson Valley, will keep guests warm with pampering this winter with its seasonal packages and spa treatments.  Perfect after a day on the slopes or as an easy holiday getaway, the resort’s serene setting along the banks of the Esopus Creek and in the shadow of Mt Tremper, is only two hours from Manhattan, yet feels worlds away.  This winter guests will have a variety of offerings to choose from, they can enjoy the region’s favorite winter sport with the Ski and Spa Package, celebrate 2009 with the New Year’s Eve Package, or customize their stay with the Create-A-Package.

 

With family-friendly, yet challenging Belleayre Mountain just minutes away from Emerson Resort & Spa skiing enthusiasts have their pick of terrain.  After an exhilarating day on the slopes guests can return and slip into a state of relaxation at The Spa with their choice of indulgent treatments.  The Ski and Spa Package includes two nights accommodations in either the luxury Inn or Adirondack-inspired Lodge and is offered throughout the season, November 24, 2008 – March 8, 2009.  Prices start at $1,161 for The Lodge and $1,526 for The Inn, based on double occupancy and inclusive of taxes and gratuities. The Ski & Spa Package includes:

  • Full breakfast daily for two at the Phoenix Restaurant
  • Two lift tickets for Belleayre Mountain
  • One $200 spa voucher for treatments of the guests’ choice (such as the Apres Ski for the Body treatment)
  • 3-course dinner for two at the Phoenix Restaurant daily

           

            New Year’s Eve at Emerson Resort & Spa will be a luxurious escape.  Guests can start their year off relaxed and centered, yet indulged amidst the Hudson Valley’s striking scenery.  The resort’s exclusive celebration will feature a three-course culinary adventure at the Phoenix Restaurant with Executive Chef Ross Fraser, a live band and Champagne toast.  Diners will feast on a prix fixe menu with entrée choices such as a  Pan Seared Red Snapper Filet, set on a House Smoked Tomato and Shrimp Risotto, with Grilled Asparagus and Crispy Tobacco Onions. Prices for a two-night stay start at $1,254 for The Lodge and $1,669 for The Inn, are based on double occupancy and inclusive of taxes and gratuities.  Three night stays are also available. The two-night New Year’s Eve Package includes:

·         Full breakfast daily for two at the Phoenix Restaurant

·         One $200 spa voucher for treatment of the guests’ choice

·         One three-course New Year’s Eve dinner for two at the Phoenix Restaurant

 

Customization and luxury go hand-in-hand and the team at Emerson Resort & Spa wants to ensure that every guest has their individual expectations met and needs fulfilled, while keeping in-mind the importance of value.  To deliver on this goal, the resort is introducing its new “Create-A-Package.”  This offering allows guests to choose the duration of stay, accommodation style, spa treatments and work with a reservationist to completely customize their own affordable package.  The Create-A-Package includes a 20 percent discount on a room rate and a 10 percent discount on spa treatments.  Guests who book a two-night stay will even receive a $50 gas rebate or a discounted room rate of $145, if they choose to extend their stay for a third night.

Winter at Emerson Resort & Spa brings creative, warming and repairing spa treatments perfect for the damaging effects of the season’s elements.  As guests enter The Spa’s impressive 17th century Rajasthani palace doors just off the resort lobby, they immediately feel a sense of calm and peace. 

The specialty winter spa treatments will be offered from November 24, 2008 – March 8, 2009. They can be incorporated into any package and include the following:  Apres Ski for the Body, a body polish, facial and massage; the Evergreen Treatment, a hydrotherapy soak followed by a massage using pine scented essential oils; Winter Ice, a hot hydrotherapy soak followed by a massage using Arctic Polar therapy; and the invigorating Peppermint Pedicure.  Additional
