Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle

11-19-2008

Whether you’re planning a holiday trip to the Big Apple or you just want to experience the festivities, let's face it, New York City does the holidays like no other city in the country.  At Manhattan’s must-visit landmark, Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle, shoppers and diners can take a break from the cold while still enjoying the season’s most festive attractions.

For the fourth year in a row, Time Warner Center presents “Under the Stars,” twelve 14-stars that hang from the ceiling of the 150-foot Great Room and are lit by the largest specialty crafted display of illuminated color mixing in the world.  This must-see display is choreographed to traditional holiday music remixed to provide a holiday atmosphere unlike any other in New York.  The stars will be on display from November 11 to January 1.  Additionally, Fridays through Sunday’s beginning at 5pm, Time Warner Center will be the only shopping destination in New York where visitors can enjoy an indoor snowfall.  For the first time ever, visitors entering the Great Room will be greeted by a gentle snowfall cascading over the front entrance.  MagicSnow, is millions of snow “puffs” that float through the sky, vanish upon contact and leave no residue.
