NEW HOME TO PERRY'S ON THE EMBARCADERO RESTAURANT

San Francisco, CA (December 10, 2008) — Greystone's Hotel Griffon is now the home of the newest Perry's Restaurant: Perry's On The Embarcadero, it was announced jointly by Eric Horodas, President of Greystone Hotels and Perry Butler, CEO of Perry's Restaurants.

Perry's On The Embarcadero occupies the ground level of the Hotel Griffon, opening its doors off the recently renovated lobby of the hotel, with an entrance on Steuart Street, known as Restaurant Row. The restaurant, nestled between Steuart Street and the transformed Embaradero, offers diners  picturesque water views of the San Francisco Bay and Bay Bridge. 

The decor of the restaurant is handsome yet comfortable, featuring many of Perry's iconic characteristics including a rich wood bar, antique brick, and select pieces of Americana artwork. Perry's trademark blue-and-white check tablecloths are also in residence at the new eatery.

According to Mr. Horodas, "During the past two years, we have invested over $1 million to renovate the hotel, and now with the addition of Perry's, we provide our guests with a more complete San Francisco experience which includes an opportunity to dine at this iconic city restaurant and enjoy the spectacular views on the Embarcadero."

"We are very excited to be a part of one of the most vibrant restaurant scenes in the Bay area," adds Mr. Butler. "Perry's is a San Francisco institution and we are excited to be expanding our brand beyond our Union Street location which is now in its 40th year."

Under the tutelage of Chef Matt Nudelman, Perry's On The Embarcadero offers the traditional Perry's menu which is composed of flavorful American comfort food including Perry's signature hamburgers, Cobb Salads, and French Onion Soup as well as a variety of prime steaks, chops, and seafood. Perry's on the Embarcadero serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Friday and brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. It also provides room service to the Hotel Griffon.
