MONTPELIER, Vt. - Finally, the real definition of ATV: All-Terrain Vermont. All this ample powder has skiers and riders heading to Vermont's Mountains for a true ATV experience this holiday season. No motors needed here though - -All Terrain Vermont offers more than 1200 ski and ride trails and stellar terrain parks boasting more features than days of the year. The ski and ride areas of Vermont are a freerider's heaven with super pipes, parks, half pipes and rails.

Vermont's mountains offer terrain for all levels of skiers and riders. Learning parks serve up small rollers, spines, rails, mini pipes and much more to give beginners a feel of the varying terrain as they build confidence. Hardcore skiers and riders will challenge the big hips, tables and expert rails found at resorts statewide.

Burke Mountain	4 Terrain Parks for all ability levels, Open Slope Rail Park, Dashney Mile, Lower Fox's Folley and Bunker Hill beginner park.
Jay Peak	4 Parks for novice through expert riders

Mad River Glen	It's one giant natural terrain park!
Magic Mountain	Hocus Pocus Terrain park with 10 features to tantalize all tricksters!
Mount Snow	New England's largest terrain park resides on Mount Snow's Carinthia Peak. A total of 95-acres has been sectioned into 12 terrain parks of varying difficulty, with up to 125 features. For more info, check out: Carinthia at Mount Snow Dedicated Entirely to Freestyle Terrain.
Northeast Slopes	Yes indeed! One sweet terrain park with 6 features for beginners to intermediates. Plan for the annual Big Air Competition.
Okemo Mountain Resort	Six Terrain Parks. The Ross Powers SuperPipe: SoBe Super Park on Nor'easter  SoBe Super Park on Nor'easter – launch over a full-sized SoBe Love bus, Mini Halfpipe, Vert Wall and Jackson Gore Snowskate park
Smugglers’ Notch Resort	Freestyle skiers and riders will find everything they're looking for in our 3 terrain parks. There are more than 30  features to challenge & thrill all ability levels. Middlebury Snow Bowl	Hadley Terrain Park
Stowe	Offers three Terrain Parks for every ability level with table tops, spines and rolls, more than 30 features. Also, a 450 ft. Olympic size Superpipe with a 16.5 ft. radius. At least two competitions monthly. For more info, check out: Snow, Terrain and Parks - it's all Bountiful in Stowe.

For winter-sports Newbies - - -it's not too late to Sign up for New Year's Resolution. January 4 - 11, 2009 is designated for free skiing and riding lessons for first-timers! Also, Winter Trails is just around the corner, January 10, 2009 - - Free Nordic skiing and snowshoeing at more than 10 Nordic ski areas in Vermont.
