PHOENIX, Arizona, February 4, 2009 – The year was 1929. The crash on Wall Street had ushered in the Great Depression. But at the newly opened Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, the partying had just begun. With its distinctive and heralded Frank Lloyd Wright-style architecture, the Arizona Biltmore overnight became a playground of the rich and famous and to this day has remained a social hub of the Southwest.
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of this storied history, the resort has created a ‘1929 Package’ that allows guests to relive this rich legacy while indulging in the amenities and pleasures of today’s Arizona Biltmore. The 1929 Package combines luxury accommodations in the new Concierge wing with the Biltmore history tour, dinner in an historic wine cellar, the famous cocktail created at the Biltmore, a visit to Wright’s architectural school, and much more.

The new Concierge Wing, which opens March 1, features Club Level guest rooms, the resort’s most enhanced and luxurious accommodations. The very spacious guest rooms with 500 square feet offer an array of custom furnishings including a flat-screen HD TV and business work area with a desk; granite and mosaic-tile bathrooms with Kohler double sinks and upgraded bath amenities; and access to the Club Pool and the Club Lounge where Continental breakfast, mid-day snack, afternoon appetizers and desserts are served. The Concierge Wing also offers a Business Center.
