·    With museums, orchestras and stunning architecture, Boston is a wonderful city to experience the arts. As the official hotel of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO), The Fairmont Copley Plaza is pleased to offer guests the opportunity to experience a performance at Symphony Hall with its Perfect Harmony Package. Located just steps from the historic hotel, the BSO is one of the world’s premier orchestral organizations and has a great standing in the city of Boston.  Package includes nightly accommodation and two orchestra-seating tickets to the Boston Symphony Orchestra on select performance dates.  Available from February 26 to April 30, 2009, rates start from $379 per night.

 

·   This year, the expansion of the Dallas Arts District will be complete, and ideally located in the heart of this trendy downtown scene is The Fairmont Dallas. To honor the encore U.S. visit of the famed King Tut exhibition hosted at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA), the hotel has created a signature “King Tut Suite”. The luxurious room is decorated with local artist renderings of King Tutankhamen, the Pyramids of Ancient Egypt, Great Sphinx, frescoes depicting Egyptian life, and a small library on the discovery and legends of Tut’s tomb. The hotel’s Spend the Night with Tut package includes nightly accommodation, 2 VIP tickets to the King Tut exhibition, expedited line access at the DMA and complimentary overnight valet parking. ·    For museum buffs that prefer a more contemporary experience, The Fairmont San Jose’s Tech Museum of Innovation Package is the perfect getaway. The Tech Museum explores how technology works and the influence it has on every aspect of the way we work, live, play and learn.  The 132,000 square foot museum is shared by four major theme galleries filled with one-of-a-kind exhibits, workshops and labs, and has become one of California’s most popular attractions.  Package includes nightly accommodation and two tickets to the Tech Museum of Innovation.  Available year-round, rates start from $149 per night.

 

·   Almost 40 years ago, John Lennon and Yoko Ono chose to hold their Bed-In for Peace in Suite 1742 of Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth. To commemorate the historic event, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, in partnership with Yoko Ono, will curate the exhibit Imagine: John & Yoko’s Pacifist Anthem.  A free exhibit, the display will highlight the wide-ranging artistic and musical dialogue that took place in the name of peace, and will run from April 2 to June 21, 2009.  In addition, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth is offering an Imagine Package, including nightly accommodation, CD featuring the legendary track Give Peace a Chance, breakfast in bed for two or buffet breakfast in Le Montrealais Restaurant, and calligraphies of the lyrics to Give Peace a Chance.  Available from March 1 to June 21, 2009, rates start from $199 ($159 USD) per night in a Fairmont room, and from $599 ($481 USD) per night in the John Lennon and Yoko Ono suite.
