FREE SLOT PLAY, FREE MUSEUM ADMISSIONS AND EVENTS BECKON VISITORS TO VISIT DELAWARE’S CAPITAL REGION IN SPRING

03-09-2009

Free is the New Green

DOVER, DE – Delaware’s Capital Region (Great Dover/Kent County), entices visitors to the area this spring with the promise of $25 in free slot play when spending at least one night, tax-free shopping and dining, plus free admission to museums and events this spring.  And, because of its central location, the Capital Region is less than a tank full away from Philadelphia, Baltimore, D.C., New Jersey, Northern Virginia and Eastern New York.

“Everyone is looking at their budgets right now,” said Cynthia S. Small, Executive Director of the Kent County Delaware Convention and Visitors Bureau, which is championing the special offer.  “We realize that times are tough and we wanted to put an offer on the table that would relieve some stress, provide a low-budget, close-to-home getaway.”

The free slot offer is available to new Capital Club members who stay at least one night in the following Dover area hotels: Comfort Inn, Country Inn & Suites, Days Inn, Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites, Microtel Inn & Suites, Sheraton Dover Hotel and Sleep Inn, Inn & Suites.  For more information on how to secure this special free play offer, call 800-233-5368.
