03-14-2009

Special Discount for Maine Residents

CAMDEN, Maine – The Camden Harbour Inn is offering two special Maine Spring Packages, a guaranteed cure for the winter blues. These packages are also an opportunity to experience the luxury and attention to detail that the AAA four-diamond Inn and its restaurant Natalie’s are known for, but at a steep discount when compared to high-season rates.

The first Camden Harbour Inn Spring package is a two-night escape to the Inn and includes the Inn’s signature welcome with a glass of prosecco, a five course tasting menu at the award-winning restaurant Natalie’s, hand made Belgian chocolates, a massage and the Inn’s a la carte gourmet breakfast. In addition the package includes a tour of the beautifully restored barn and vineyards of the nearby Cellardoor Vineyard, complete with a wine tasting and as a parting gift, two bottles of wine to take home as a memento of the tour and visit to Camden.

The Camden Harbour Inn Spring Package starts at $309 per person based on double occupancy, excluding taxes and gratuity, and for Maine residents the Inn is offering a $50 discount. This special package is available from March 15 through April 30.

The Camden Harbour Inn is also offering a special mid-week package, with a welcome prosecco, the Inn’s gourmet a la carte breakfast, a three-course dinner and a thirty-minute massage. Rates for this package are $149 per person, based on double occupancy. The package is available through April 30.

The Camden Harbour Inn offers world-class service and amenities, and 18 unique guestrooms and suites - each with a distinct style and dazzling view – and every conceivable modern convenience.  Opulently decorated with a stylish mix of rare antiques and modern design, several guestrooms offer wood burning fireplaces, balconies and/or private decks.  With its inviting wrap-around porch, white clapboard siding, fine roof lines and stunning views, the Inn attracts a discerning upscale clientele who return often to experience one of New England’s most tranquil, inspired and treasured settings. The Inn and the restaurant, Natalie’s, have earned the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award.

Natalie’s has been called the finest gourmet eatery in Maine, offering sophisticated décor, impeccable service and gourmet dining without the pressure of formal attire, served under the culinary direction of Chef de Cuisine Lawrence Klang. Natalie’s is a stunning restaurant offering Modern French cuisine – as well as a 200 specialty wines from its exceptional wine cellar – all in a beautiful relaxed setting with a nod to the past with its bar designed from doors salvaged from a French convent.

The towns of Camden, Rockport and Rockland are considered Mid-Coast Maine's arts and cultural hub, with scores of renowned museums, including the celebrated Farnsworth Museum, country fairs, seasonal festivals, historic libraries, lighthouses.  Camden’s Main Street village shops offer a host of wonderful items, while the nearby Library and Harbor Park, as well as dozens of boutiques and galleries offer something for everyone.
