Don’t Hesitate! Meditate at the Cosmopolitan

Toronto, ON) – March 27, 2009 – Toronto’s Cosmopolitan Hotel, a sanctuary in an urban oasis, recently announced the introduction of their complimentary evening meditation classes beginning on April 1st.

“We, at the Cosmopolitan, know the stresses of business and leisure travel and believe that everyone should take some time out of each day to unwind and reflect,” said David Zaltzman, CEO of Skyline Boutique Hotels and Resorts. “Our guests have come to appreciate the Hotel’s focus on wellness and we’re excited to take this to another level by offering free meditation classes to end their day on a peaceful note,” he added.

Each night at 8:30 pm, hotel guests will be treated to supreme bliss inside the Cosmopolitan’s Solarium. An expert meditation instructor will lead a class aimed at reducing stress and increasing relaxation. The hotel will also provide guests with a mat to use at class and complimentary tea upon check-in.

There is no better time to meditate than while traveling, alleviating the stress associated with being away from familiar surroundings. A meditation class can provide the following benefits to guests:

Ø  Increased blood flow and slows the heart rate

Ø  A deeper level of relaxation and concentration

Ø  Decreased muscle tension and headaches

Ø  Improved posture

Ø  Build confidence and self-control

Ø  Enhanced immune system.

Ø  Inner certainty

Ø  Increased focus and the ability to work efficiently

Ø  Improved overall health

In addition to their complimentary mediation classes, the Cosmopolitan Hotel provides guests with a number of amenities to make their stay as serene and tranquil as possible, including: design concepts taken from the ancient art of Feng Shui, air purifiers, 400 threat-count Egyptian cotton linens and the convenience of an on-site Shizen Spa.
