Huntington Beach Resort Offers Activities, Specials And Location...Location...Location This Summer

 

Huntington Beach, California (ISSUE DATE, 2009) – This summer, Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, California, aka Surf City USA™, has planned a “sunsational” variety of exciting activities and entertainment options to heat things up.  Starting Memorial Day weekend and going through Labor Day weekend, 2009, visitors to the resort can experience the true Surf City USA™ lifestyle with activities, food and beverage specials, and live entertainment providing added value for families, guests traveling with their dogs, beach lovers, epicureans, and more.

                        For families traveling with children, Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort has a variety of incentives including a new Kids Eat Free program (for children under 12 years of age); a free children’s welcome gift and chilled beverage offered upon check-in; complimentary children’s activities at the pool including balloon art, face painting, storytelling, arts & crafts and more; and group ticket packages to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure.   

                        Furry four legged guests, traveling with their best friends, will receive a special treat in addition to the lengthy list of fido-friendly resort options this summer at the resort, which is a proud sponsor of the popular, nearby Dog Beach.

                        Beach lovers will receive complimentary beach equipment, including chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and sand pails and shovels at the Waterfront Resort Pool Hut.  Additionally, the resort’s Waterfront Adventures can complete the perfect beach day with Beach Cabana and chaise lounge rentals, and the ultimate in special pampering with Beach Butler services.  Surf lessons, paddle board lessons, kayak rentals and more are also available through the resort’s highly-acclaimed activity partner, Toes on the Nose.   

                        With an attitude that food and beverages should be fun, fresh and exceptional, Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort has scheduled a variety of summer palate pleasers including “Wine Tasting Thursdays” offered every Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in Shades Restaurant and Bar; a “Beach Ball Menu” with a beverage and cocktail service offered poolside; and, “BBQ Saturdays”, a special BBQ buffet created by Executive Chef Jeff Littlefield every Saturday in Shades.  To compliment these new initiatives, the resort has also opened Surf Hero Deli, their quick service summer dining spot that offers a variety of sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, ice cream and cold beverages. 

                        And, adding a little fun for everyone and complimenting the resort’s tropical environment, a live Calypso band will play pool-side every Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 4 p.m.  Live music is also featured at Shades PM every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
