~New Founders Promotional Campaign Includes Hotels, Resorts, B&B’s Countywide~

 

palm Beach COUNTY, Fla., May 28, 2009 – Palm Beach County (palmbeachfl.com), “America’s first resort destination,” will mark its 100-year anniversary with a historic promotional campaign. To celebrate its founding in April 1909, a countywide “1909 Founders Package” is offered at participating hotels, resorts and B&Bs. Depending on the property, guests stay two, three or four nights and get an additional night for only $19.09 through December 2009. Meeting planners can also secure rebates from $1,909 to $4,909 for events booked by September 30.

 

“As far as anniversaries go, 100 years is a proud milestone,” stated Jorge Pesquera, president & CEO, Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We are thrilled that close to 80 hotels, B&Bs and even iconic resorts like The Breakers and Boca Raton Resort & Club have all joined together to offer the 1909 Founders Package to honor the year Palm Beach County was founded. We encourage travelers to take advantage of these great values and experience a destination rich with diversity.”
