This 9-day architectural tour from May 8-19, 2008, begins in Paris and takes guest through his buildings in Paris, the east of France, the Swiss Jura, Lyons and Marseilles. Le Corbusier was a pioneer in theoretical studies of modern design and was dedicated to providing better living conditions for the residents of crowded cities. His career spanned five decades, with his iconic buildings constructed throughout central Europe, India, Russia, and one structure each in North and South America.

The route then turns southwest, with a break at La Saline Royale, the remarkable industrial complex and then heads to Lyon with its striking modern buildings and a visit to the opera house.
