Free Mega Yacht Charters - San Juan Islands!

06-09-2009

Seattle firm offers expense only charters to promote San Juan Islands

SEATTLE, Wash., June 2, 2009 – Seattle-based CEO Expeditions, an award winning yachting company, is waiving charter fees in order to open up mega yachting in the San Juan Islands, a chain consistently rated among the top ten island groups in the world.

Now, luxury travelers can enjoy the same yachts used by celebrities and billionaires alike – past guests include Al Pacino, Robin Williams and Glenn Beck. Actress, Hilary Swank said, “We had an absolutely enchanted time aboard the Katania, a more beautiful yacht does not exist.”

From up to $105,000 a week, fees will now be only $2950 per day, all inclusive for the 100’ Katania (3+ staterooms) and $3950 per day for the 120’ Kayana (6+ staterooms). That covers full crew, premium wines, and gourmet food prepared by a cordon bleu level private chef.  Amenities include kayaks, hot tub, fishing/crabbing/shrimping, and extensive tenders. There is even an elite 30’ Whaler for guest use.

Bruce Milne, company owner, stated, “Since we started chartering 10 years ago, we have been looking for a chance to provide our ‘Expeditions to the Extraordinary’ in the San Juan Islands at a price any luxury traveler can afford – this recession provides that opportunity. Travel is down, agents and brokers need deals, so rather than just a few full price charters, we decided to stay busy, put more people to work, and help island tourism by doing charters at cost.”

David Guertin of C.U. Luxury Yachts Charters said, “Even the wealthiest are watching their travel dollars in this economy. Our clients who chartered with CEO before were very well taken care of. At these prices, some will want to charter both vessels together for a larger group or family reunion. I am already informing my clients of the special opportunity.”

There are several reasons why CEO can operate at this low a price for a seven day six night charter. First, the company owns and operates these vessels outright. Second, support is provided by CEO’s sister company, Whidbey Retreats, the area’s largest private waterfront retreat operation (over 5000 high-end guests). Third, the yachts will already be positioned in the heart of the islands at quaint Roche Harbor, with easy access to neighboring islands by tender in the calm waters. Not having to cruise to the destination, or use the yachts for all exploration saves thousands of dollars in fuel ev ery charter.

In closing, Milne stated, “My family homesteaded these islands 100 years ago; they are a magical, every island a gem. We look forward to having our guests experience their spectacular beauty and charm on one of our luxury private yachts this summer.”
