Deer Valley Music Festival

July 4 – August 15, 2009

The Deer Valley® Music Festival is the Utah Symphony/Utah Opera’s summer home.  The 2009 Festival, in its sixth season, provides chamber music, classical, opera and pops offerings in four venues: the Deer Valley Snow Park Amphitheater, St. Mary's Church, Temple Har Shalom and salons in private homes in the Park City area.  Headlining this summer’s performances are LeAnn Rimes and Elvis Costello.  Individual ticket prices range from $25-$80, with student and family discounts available.  For additional information, visit http://www.deervalleymusicfestival.org/.

 

 

Kimball Arts Festival

August 1 – 2, 2009

Now in its 40th year, the Kimball Arts Festival is Park City's premier summer event and established visual arts tradition.  Ranked among the top fine art festivals in the country, more than 200 artists line the city’s Historic Main Street, creating an open air festival for ceramics, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and wood.  Fabulous food is offered by Utah's talented culinary artists, while local, regional and national musicians entertain the crowd from three stages.  Tickets start at $10 per day and children 10 and under are admitted free.  For additional information, visit to http://www.kimballartcenter.org/events/arts-festival/.

 

 

High West Distillery

Opening Mid-August
