Costa Rica Trip is a Treat for the Mind, Body and Soul!

KIRKLAND, WA (July 9, 2009) — Costa Rica is one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world. With its vast jungles, active volcanoes, virgin cloud forests, crystal clear rivers and beautiful beaches, planning an itinerary can be difficult.  Gutsy Women Travel offers a 9-Day Costa Rican Traditions trip that includes all the top sites and experiences in a country that is both eco-minded and soul-stirring. The trip departs November 7, 2009, January 16, 2010, and November 20, 2010.

According to April M. Merenda, President & Co-Founder, “Ladies today are looking for more than just sightseeing. They want to indulge their passions, whether it’s food, art or the outdoors. They want adventure and they want to learn.  However they want comfort with their adventure.  They want to go snorkeling, kayaking or walking, but at the end of the day they want to return to comfortable surroundings. Our Costa Rica trip offers all that plus some extra added components that women will find especially appealing.”

Throughout the trip, as ladies travel from San Jose to Arenal, Monteverde, and Tambor, they’ll find endless opportunities for viewing an amazing variety of animals, birds, and plant species. The itinerary also includes special treats such as a sunset yoga session on the beach; enjoying the therapeutic effects of the Tabacon hot springs; a Tico cooking class; a painting lesson at the CASEM, a thriving artists’ community founded by women; visits to working coffee and sugar plantations; a boat ride on Lake Arena; a ferry ride to Tambor and a cruise around Tortuga Island.
